Violist Alexa Beattie is in increasing demand as a chamber musician and contemporary specialist. Currently relocating to Munich after 4 years in San Francisco, she is a founding member of the One Art Ensemble and is a core member of sfSoundGroup. Appearances this season have included Noe Valley Ministry’s Emerging Artist’s Concert, San Francisco’s Noontime Concert Series, Stanford’s Bing Series, sfSoundGroup’s ongoing season and performances with Munich Chamber Orchestra. With diverse repertoire and expertise, Beattie’s inspiring collaborative partners have included Bonnie Hampton, Robert Mann, Ian Swensen, Paul Hersh, Axel Strauss, Jean-Michel Fonteneau and Canada's slam poetry champion Shane Koyczan.
